Fashion week is an event where famous designers from around the world showcase their creations f in fashion designing. Different brands from all over the world display their collection to the media and buyers on the runway. And these pieces are worn by top models and celebrities. This fashion event influences the world with new trends of glamorous and creative collections where fashion enthusiasts will follow.  

There are four prominent fashion week events in the world of fashion. These are New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks. Let us know more about what is in New York Fashion Week. 

The awaited New York Fashion week

Ulla Johnson is hosting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden event. While LaQuan Smith taking on his show at the Empire State Building. The main purpose of this event is to display the latest and upcoming menswear and womenswear collections this year. Media and experts are present in the event to review them for the possible placing of orders from the consumers. 

Generally, the city of lights fashion week showcases in their runway the upcoming trend in fashion. Definitely, it’s not about this year’s trend. But our fashion designers have creative minds to add a twist to recreate the modern fashion style. 

What can we expect in the 2022 fashion style?

Because of the effects of the Covid -19 pandemic, limitations have been implemented to all events around the world. With the implementation of health protocols, the fashion weeks were regulated keenly in line with the pandemic. Of course, America is a great nation, it will always find a way to continue coping up with the effects of the pandemic.

After two seasons of virtual fashion shows, Big Apple’s fashion week will make a return with a face-to-face setup. With no difference to the other events in this time of period, health protocols are being implemented to ensure safety during the event. That’s why every participant should be vaccinated as a requirement for them to witness personally the events beautiful creations.

The Spring/Summer 2022 fashion week is filled with 91 designers showcasing their creative sense of fashion. The runway is topped up with astonishing spring/summer 2022 trends collection by Christian Siriano, Gabriela Hearst, Carolina Herrera, Sergio Hudson, and other great designers. 

After the two-season virtual runway event, Gigi Hadid returns to the catwalk for Proenza Schouler. Precious Lee and Candice Huffine, plus-size models star in the body-positive show of Christian Siriano. Despite the slightly restricted situation in the event, there are still celebrities likes Katie Holmes, Lil Kim, and Alicia Silverstone who attended the said event.

The event took place in Spring Studios from September 8 to September 12. As expected, there are more limited numbers of participants this year in line with the health protocols. Wearing a facemask is also a must.

A sneak peek at the New York Fashion Runway 2021

Though the world of fashion was affected by the worldwide spread of the virus, the New York Fashion Runway found ways to continue to reveal the impressive works they got. They will showcase glamorous collections that the world is dying to see. 

This year is going to be a sure hit for the fashion industry because it will be participated by the fashions designers Brandon Maxwell Victor Glemaud and Kevan hall. Though some notable famous designers like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger will not participate, the event has a lot of shows to offer this year despite the pandemic that is happening.

All in all, the events from the past two seasons were a challenge for the New York Fashion industry. The fashion shows went on despite health crises in virtual ways from different online formats. Now that there are vaccines available, the fashion weeks will eventually go back to full normal when this pandemic totally vanishes from the world.
