Next Course: 28th March 2009
AIFD's 10 week pattern making short course has been designed to give students the skills to create patterns to a range of different styles to their own body measurements/fit. Students will learn how to create a 'block pattern' to their own measurements from a standard block size pattern.
Students are required to have sewing ability prior to commencing this course (as sewing techniques and construction is not taught in this course) for students who have not sewn before it is recommended that they complete at least one term of sewing classes prior to undertaking the pattern making short course. Students will be required to toile the block patterns (in their own time), to check the fit and make adjustments to the patterns as required in class.
$850.00. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to enrol, with the balance due on course commencement. (Students may request to pay the balance of course fees on payment plan, over a 5 week duration - students should contact administration for a payment plan form prior to course commencement).
