Intermediate Sewing Classes

This course is for students who have completed the 'Beginners Sewing' or are more experienced sewers. In these classes students will learn garment construction and sewing techniques. Pattern making is not covered in this course. If you wish to make your own patterns you should enroll in the pattern making course.

Students will select commercial sewing patterns of their own choice (i.e. Vogue, Butterick, McCalls, Burda, Simplicity etc) to make during the 10 week class block. When students first commence intermediate sewng classes they should only select 'simple' graded patterns.

Pattern selected will need to be approved by the teacher to ensure thare are suitable for your ability. Student's may repeat the intermediate sewing classes, gradually selecting more advanced patterns as their sewing ability improves.
