Fashion Design Product Development Part-Time

Would you like to improve your design skills? This part time course part of the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design & Technology and covers fashion design, illustration and product development.

This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in the fashion industry and is particularly useful for those who are in the industry and are looking to extend their skills to cover garment specifications, costing production and computer aided design skills.

This course can be undertaken at the same time as the 'Fashion marketing & merchandising' course (on Monday's) for those interested in marketing & merchandising for fashion.

This course can also be undertaken at the same time as the 'Advanced Makeup & Styling' course (on Friday's) for those who are particularly interested in working in the areas of fashion styling, fashion magazine & media.

If you are able to undertake more than one day of study per week, we can recommend other part time options to help you achieve the full qualification quicker!

This course forms part of the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design & Technology and follows the following term dates.

  • $400 non-refundable deposit required to enrol.
  • $3,600 balance due on course commencement.

PAYMENT PLAN: $4,400

  • $400 non-refundable deposit required to enrol.'
  • $4,000 balance paid in weekly installments, direct debited from your selected bank account over the duration of your study.

Required Equipment

Students will require some art & design equipment to complete this course - approximately $150.

It is also recommended that students obtain Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for their home computer or laptop.
