The Australian Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD) is part of the Australian Institute of Creative Design and offers a range of courses in various areas of the fashion industry, including: fashion design, fashion illustration, drawing, fashion design and portfolio development, computer-aided fashion design (CAD), fashion merchandising and marketing, fashion retailing, pattern making, sewing, garment construction and fashion styling.
In response to a demand for practically based, industry-relevant training, AIFD offers a number of comprehensive fashion training programmes that will assist in equipping you for a new career in the fashion industry. These include the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design & Technology (on offer full-time) and the Advanced Diploma of Fashion & Textiles Merchandising.
